About

Lima Lima is my jewellery studio, based in Swansea, South Wales, where I design and make small-batch jewellery by hand.

I’m Rhi, a silversmith and jewellery designer, and I’ve been working with metal for over eight years. I work from my home studio, making pieces slowly and thoughtfully, using a mix of silversmithing and lost wax casting.

The name Lima comes from the Latin words for file, polish, revise. It reflects how I work — refining a piece again and again until it feels right. Repeating the word felt fitting, as that rhythm runs through everything I make.

My designs are influenced by symbolism, architecture, sculpture and art, but always with wearability and longevity in mind. I’m not interested in fast trends — I want to make jewellery that feels considered and lasts.

I use recycled silver and brass wherever possible, and source gemstones responsibly. Some processes such as casting and gold plating are done in collaboration with skilled UK based craftspeople I trust, while the rest happens here, by my hands.

I also try hard to waste as little as possible. I regularly hold zero-waste sales, where one-off pieces made from offcuts, test pieces and experiments find new homes instead of being scrapped.

Lima Lima is intentionally small and personal. Every piece is made with care, and every order genuinely means a lot.
